*Dirty! No masks or hand washing!* I had ordered take out and took 35 mins and only two others in there. I expect to have forks, knifes and napkins when I order take out. And they had told me they had none. Then I had ordered a pop to go. And he had come back with a small coffee cup. Not impressed.

When we were there the restaurant was very busy as it was wharf rat ralley time in Digby. Took a while to get served but they kept the coffee coming. We would go back for sure but probably at a less busy time..

DIVERSITY - STAFF
I love the food here. However, I do have to say that I have noticed the lack in Race & Diversity in the restaurants from customers to staff.
Every member of staff seems to be of one race and one colour and rarely do I see the shop actually attracting people of various diversities or employing them.
Food is amazing.
Great service.
Very reasonable prices.

great hot breakfast
Visited digby March 26 to 28. The resturant where we stayed did notopen until 1:30AM so i headed out to find this place. It did not disappoint. Saturday morning i had the fish cakes with poached eggs and toast. While I have had better the fish cakes wre good. On Sunday morning i ahd the traditional eggs and sausage with toast and coffee. Both morning the the breakfast was really great. The wait staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent Diner!
We were well-served. Staff was very friendly. Food was awesome diner food! And how can you beat an arcade machine with 50 games? 25 cents per play.
The pancakes with bacon and hash browns were great, talk about big portion sizes! You could feed three children with this. She asked if I wanted chocolate chips in my pancakes. YES MA'AM!!! The hot chocolate even had whipped cream on it.
I highly recommend Josie's. it's not far off the highway, the food is great, it's a very relaxed atmosphere, and the prices were quite low.
Wear your fat pants and chow down here!

Attentive waitress, local flavor
Many locals, with some of us tourists interspersed. Plentiful good food, reasonable prices. Specials were loaded poutine and corned beef and cabbage. We both ordered the “Not so big Breakfast”: two pieces of toast, two eggs, and 4 pieces of either bacon or sausage. We would return. Definitely not a chain restaurant.

Summer Travels
Good hearty breakfast with fish cakes , toast , eggs and home fries. Coffee was hot and plentiful. Service friendly and efficient. No complaints .
